On the occasion of Republic Day, Congress MLA from Kapurthala, Rana Gurjeet Singh unfurled the national flag at a special function organised by the Punjab Lambardar Union at Nurmahal, held on the invitation of Dr. Navjot Dahiya, in-charge of Nakodar constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Rana Gurjeet Singh highlighted the significance of India’s freedom struggle, constitutional values, and the strength of the democratic system.
He called upon citizens to stand united and collectively reinforce the nation’s unity, integrity, and shared heritage. Emphasising the spirit of the day, he said that Republic Day serves as a powerful reminder of dedication, sacrifice, and the responsibility of every citizen towards the nation.
The function witnessed the presence of office-bearers of the punjab lambardar union, prominent local personalities, and a large number of citizens, whose enthusiastic participation added grandeur to the national celebration and infused the event with a profound sense of patriotism.
