Harsimrat Singh Chetra has assumed charge as Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) in Rupnagar following his promotion.
Before his elevation, Chetra was serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) at Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali).
After taking charge, Chetra said he would discharge his responsibilities with dedication, integrity and sincerity. He also expressed his commitment to improving the functioning and efficiency of the Police Department under the leadership of SSP Maninder Singh, IPS.
