Punjab Govt keen for sustainable development of state: Manish Tewari

Manish Tewari, Member of Parliament from Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency, has said that Captain Amarinder Singh led government of Punjab is doing its best for overall development of Punjab. He was addressing public meetings on the occasion of the high battle of Ganga Assembly constituency, Gunachaur, Hakimpura and Bhroli.

Tewari further said that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, had taken many steps to minimise the problems of the people. Under these steps, farmers’ debts have been waived upto Rs 2 lakh, Job fairs are being organised, drug problems are being curbed. He siad, in the next two years, the state will again return to the development path, which was overthrown by the SAD-BJP government.

Meanwhile, while recalling the great history of village Hakimpura, he said that these villages bare the footprints of first sikh Master, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, seventh Master Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib and the ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. State Government has also released a fund of Rs. 1.5 Crore for overall development of this sacred land.

On this occasion, Tewari along with Satvir Singh Pallificki, Tarlochan Singh Soond, Mohan Lal, Pawan Dewan Chairrman Punjab Large industrial Development Board , Rajinder Thekedar , Dr. Harpreet Kainth, Raghvir Billa, Kamaljit Banga, Manmohan Singh, Sukhjinder Singh, Vivek Singh Singh ,Naveen Singh , Amrik Singh Sodhi, Bhupinder Singh, Shiv Nath, Nirmaljit Singh Sonu, Madan Mohan Singh, Kamla Devi Chairman A Block, Dr. Amritpal, Nirmaljir Kaur, Jujhar Singh, Sodhi Ram Bajon, Ran Jeet Wrestler, Kulwinder Sonu, Dalbir Ratunda, Budh Singh, Rajiv Sharma were also present.
