Punjab Governor and Administrator of Chandigarh Shri Gulab Chand Kataria today paid a visit to the Jain Temple at Vairowal in district Tarn Taran.
During his visit, the Governor offered prayers and interacted with members of the Jain community. He appreciated the temple’s role in promoting the values of peace, non-violence, discipline and social harmony, which form the core of Jain philosophy.
Shri Kataria emphasized that such spiritual institutions play an important role in strengthening moral values and fostering unity in society.
On this occasion, MLA Dalbir Singh Tong, Principal Secretary to the Governor of Punjab Vivek Pratap Singh, Secretary of Red Cross Society Punjab Mr. Shivdular Singh, Deputy Commissioner Tarn Taran Mr. Rahul, SSP Mr. Surendra Lamba, SDM Khadoor Sahib Mr. Sanjeev Sharma and other dignitaries were present.
