The Punjab Government has promoted three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the 2010 batch to the Supertime Scale (Level 14) in the IAS Pay Matrix, with effect from January 1, 2026.
According to an official spokesperson, Ghanshyam Thori, Kumar Amit, and Vimal Kumar Setia have been elevated to the rank of Secretary to the Government of Punjab.
The spokesperson further stated that all three officers will continue to discharge their duties at their current postings while drawing the higher pay scale, until further orders are issued by the state government.
The elevation reflects the government’s ongoing administrative restructuring and recognition of the officers’ service experience and seniority within the state cadre.
