Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led the grand roadshow in support of the AAP candidate in Delhi’s Ghonda Assembly constituency. Chief Minister Mann arrived here on the occasion of the nomination of AAP candidate Gaurav Sharma.
A large number of AAP workers and local residents participated in the roadshow. The crowd enthusiastically welcomed Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the AAP candidate. Mann claimed a major victory for the party and said that the massive turnout today has proven that the people of Delhi are ready to re-elect the Aam Aadmi Party government.
During the roadshow, Mann thanked the shopkeepers of Bhajanpura Market for supporting the event and appealed to them to elect the AAP candidate. Praising the AAP candidate, Mann said, “Our candidate Gaurav Sharma wants to do good work for this area.
He understands your problems. Rising from a modest family background, he understands your problems. Elect him, and after winning, he will stay among you and work for you.”
During his speech, Mann targeted Congress and BJP, saying, “Those parties looted the country for 70 years. They destroyed our schools and hospitals. After coming to power in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal transformed the government hospitals and schools here. He provided free electricity and water to the common people and free bus services for women.”
He added, “After Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party formed the government in Punjab. We are doing a lot of work there as well. In three years, we have built more than 850 Mohalla Clinics. We are improving government schools and hospitals.
Today, like Delhi, 90% of people in Punjab receive zero electricity bills. In Punjab, we have provided over 50,000 government jobs without any bribes or recommendations.”
Criticizing the BJP, Mann said, “The intentions of the central government are not good. They deliberately harass the people of Delhi to frustrate them so that they do not vote for the Aam Aadmi Party. But Arvind Kejriwal is fighting for you like a member of your family.”
Appealing to the people to support the Aam Aadmi Party, Mann said, “On February 5, you have to decide the fate of your family and children. Therefore, choose someone who knows how to work and does not indulge in hate politics. Do not entrust the future to those who engage in the politics of hatred. Those who do hate politics can never work for your welfare.”
