The Punjab Government has announced an additional responsibility for Shri Moneesh Kumar, a 2014-batch IAS officer. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Shri Kumar will now also hold the charge of Special Secretary within the same department.
This administrative decision, effective immediately, is expected to streamline and strengthen the oversight of technical education and industrial training initiatives across Punjab.
The order was issued from Chandigarh on May 27, 2025, by Chief Secretary, Govt. of Punjab, KAP Sinha.
