Prof. Dr. Hardeep Singh, Professor, Department of Computer Science and former Dean, Students Welfare of Guru Nanak Dev University has taken over the charge of Dean, Academic Affairs here today in the presence of Prof. S.S. Behl, former Dean Academic Affairs; Prof. K.S. Kahlon, Registrar; Prof. Anish Dua, Dean, Dean, Students Welfare, Prof. Ashwani Luthra, Director IQAC, Mrs. Tejpal Kaur, S. H.S. Tinna, and other faculty members.
Similarly on the same day, Prof. Anish Dua from Zoology Department of the University has joined as Dean, Students Welfare of the University in the presence of Prof. S.S. Behl, former Dean Academic Affairs; Prof. K.S. Kahlon, Registrar; Prof. Anish Dua, Dean, Dean, Students Welfare, Prof. Ashwani Luthra, Director IQAC, S. H.S. Tinna, and other faculty members.
Prof. Sarbjot Singh Behl, Professor, Department of Architecture and former Dean Academic Affairs has joined O.S.D., Vice-Chancellor’s Office of the University.

Prof. Dr. Hardeep Singh is working as Professor in the Department of Computer Science of the university since last 34 years. He did Ph.D. in Modelling and Design of Software Metrics for Object Oriented Systems from Guru Nanak Dev University.
He has supervised students of MCA : 300, B.Tech : 250, M.Tech : 50, M.Phil. :10, Ph.D. : 10 completed (08 Perusing) and published 6 Books, papers published in Journals are 100 and presented 62 papers in Conferences.
He is also members of many Societies of National repute. He is awarded with Dewang Mehta National Award for Best Professor in Computer Engineering, ISTE award for best Teacher in Computer Science, Rotract International Award for Best Teacher. He is also working on so many positions along with his formal duties.
Dr Anish Dua, Professor of Environmental Biology in the Department of Zoology, Guru Nanak Dev University since 1995 (26 years) and is currently engaged in Teaching, Research & Administration. He has served the institution through various administrative roles in yesteryears and has been in the position of Director-Events, Director Capacity Enhancement (colleges); and the office of Public Relations for the university.
In addition to many administrative and coordination roles. He has to his credit many thousand hours of formal classroom teaching, research guidance and mentoring of post graduate and doctorate students.
