The Punjab Government has given an additional charge to Shri Sanjeev Sharma, a 2012-batch Punjab Civil Service (PCS) officer.
Currently serving as the Joint Secretary in the School Education Department, Shri Sharma will now also hold the position of Joint Secretary in the Department of Higher Education & Languages.
This immediate administrative change aims to enhance coordination and efficiency between the school and higher education sectors in the state, including linguistic initiatives.
The order, effective immediately, was issued from Chandigarh on May 27, 2025, by Chief Secretary, Govt. of Punjab, KAP Sinha.
