A delegation of District Council and PCCTU comprising of various units from aided colleges in Chandigarh, today met and offered their gratitude to Sh. Satya Pal Jain, Ex Member Parliament and Additional Solicitor General of India regarding the notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs Govt of India stating conditions of services of teaching faculty of Higher Educational Institutions that award UT services benefits to all.
The delegation thanked the Centre Government profusely for taking this historic decision and honouring the long-pending demands of the higher education sector of Chandigarh.
Mr. Jain played a crucial rule in implementation of these demands and promised that he would stand by the causes of Chandigarh and its employees for all times to come.
