Ms Navneet Kaur, an M.Sc. scholar of the Department of Biochemistry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), bagged second position in oral presentation under the theme of plant-microbes interactions during the National Conference on “Emerging Paradigm in Agricultural Microbiology” organized by Atmiya University, Gujarat on February 11, 2023 through online mode.
Her topic was “Alterations in Chlorophyll, Carotenoids, Carbohydrates and Protein contents in bitter gourd genotypes in response to yellow mosaic virus disease.”
In her M.Sc. programme, she worked on “Biochemical evaluation of bitter gourd genotypes in response to yellow mosaic virus disease”under the guidance of her major advisor Dr Manjeet Kaur Sangha, Principal Biochemist-cum-Head, Department of Biochemistry.
Dr Shammi Kapoor, Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities; and Dr Manjeet Kaur Sangha, Principal Biochemist-Cum-Head, congratulated the student for her achievement.
