Mandeep Singh, a Ph. D. scholar of the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics has brought dual laurels to the university by receiving the best M.Sc. thesis award in the National Conference on ‘Sustainable Development through Agriculture Production, Protection and Policy Landscape for Crop Care’, jointly organized by AEEFWS, Punjab and MVN University, Palwal, Haryana on 18th-19th January 2023.
He also got 2nd position in Poster presentation in the session of Horticulture and Agroforestry during ‘International Conference on Climate Resilient Agriculture for Food Security and Sustainability’ held at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana from February, 17-19, 2023.
He has completed his M.Sc. thesis under the guidance of Dr. Usha Nara, Plant Breeder, Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, PAU.
