Dr Radha, a student of the Department of Chemistry, has been awarded “PAU Gold Medal 2020-21” among Ph.D. programmes of the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities. She did her Ph.D on the topic “Synthesis of hybrid benzimidazoles-metal sulfide nano formulations as antifungal agents” under the expert guidance of Dr Anjali Sidhu, Nanotechnologist- Chemistry. She published 14 papers in the journals of international repute and was also awarded “Best Paper Award” at an International Conference.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr Shammi Kapoor, Dean, College of Basic Sciences Humanities; and Dr Manjeet Kaur Sangha, Head, Department of Chemistry, congratulated Dr Radha and her major advisor Dr Anjali for this achievement.
