Mr Vivek Duggal, an illustrious alumnus from the 1987 batch and current Vice President at JP Morgan Bank, USA, revisited his alma mater today. Duggal, a former national-level cricket player and the distinguished best athlete of PAU, expressed his delight at witnessing the continued growth and strength of the institution.
After completing his Masters in Plant Breeding at PAU, Duggal pursued a Masters in Computer Science before making his mark in the USA. During his visit, he shared valuable insights with the youth, emphasizing the importance of clarity in focus and dedicated discipline for a successful and fulfilling life.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, the Vice Chancellor, applauded the strong bonds PAU alums maintain with the institution, acknowledging their pivotal role in upholding its esteemed reputation. Gosal stressed that such visits by esteemed alumni strengthen these relationships and inspire current students, who bear the responsibility of future innovation and progress.
While felicitating the guest, Dr Tejinder Singh Riar, Additional Director of Communication, PAU, highlighted the Communication Centre’s initiatives in disseminating scientific and timely agricultural information to farmers through various media channels.
