Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, observed Parakram Diwas with great enthusiasm through a joint initiative of the NSS and NCC Wings, in collaboration with My Bharat Kendra, Bathinda, under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
The programme was organised under the leadership of Mr. Sarabjeet Singh, District Youth Officer, with the objective of inspiring students to imbibe the spirit of courage, leadership, and nation-building exemplified by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
The programme was successfully coordinated by Dr. Abhilasha, Coordinator, NSS, MRSPTU, and Dr. Swati, Programme Officer, MRSPTU, who emphasised the relevance of Parakram Diwas in motivating the youth to uphold the values of discipline, selflessness, and dedicated service to the nation.
The event featured insightful and motivating expert talks by Lt. Vivek Kaundal, ANO, 2 PB R&V Squadron NCC, MRSPTU; Dr. Sukhjinder Singh, Coordinator (Admissions), MRSPTU; and Dr. Manjeet Bansal, Dean, Consultancy Cell, MRSPTU.
The speakers addressed the students on the importance of character building, national service, and the proactive role of youth in nation-building.
The celebration of Parakram Diwas at MRSPTU proved to be a meaningful platform for instilling patriotic values among students and reinforcing their responsibility in building a strong and self-reliant nation.
