Mr Inder Mohan Singh, President of Dashmesh Sewa Soceity (Regd.) and Ex member of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) advised the opposition groups to refrain themselves from unnecessary accusing the DSGMC in the matter of Guru Harkrishan Public Schools (GHPS).
Reacting on this issue, he said that the incompetent management of the previous office-bearers of DSGMC was the main cause of the deteriorating financial position of these GHPS schools.
Mr Inder Mohan Singh said that hundreds of illegal and unwanted appointments (particularly Office-staff) was made during the regime of former President Paramjit Singh Sarna during the year 2007-2008.
He reminds Sarna brothers and said that the Central Information Commission imposed heavy penalty on DSGMC during 2009-2010 due to the failure of DSGMC headed by Sarna brothers at that time to provide information of such illegal appointment to him (Inder Mohan Singh).
Reacting on the recent advice publicly given the former President Manjit Singh G.K. to implement Post-fixation Policy and shunt-out surplus staff, Mr Inder Mohan Singh said that during the tenure of Manjit Singh G.K., a Post-fixation Committee was constituted which included the favourite members of the G.K. and also Mr Inder Mohan Singh as Convenor.
After rigorous efforts, a report was handed over to Manjit Singh G.K. in April, 2015 but he dumped that report due to his personal interests. Mr Singh said that the DSGMC could not have to face the present deteriorated financial position if that report was implemented at that time.
Mr Inder Mohan Singh asked the Sarna brothers that how the present DSGMC constituted in the year 2021 can be held accountable of Rs. 123 Crores claimed to have been left by them in the year 2013 to the then incoming President Manjit Singh G.K. ?
Mr Inder Mohan Singh said that despite illegal activities of the former Presidents, the DSGMC have agreed to disburse salary to the GHPS staff as per recommendations of the 7th C.P.C. Apart thereof, it is an appreciable step that the DSGMC has announced that the children of the Sewadars, Ragi & Granthi Singhs of DSGMC & other Gurdwaras studying in GHPS are exempted from paying Tuition fee.
Mr Inder Mohan Singh advised the opposition groups to co-operation with the DSGMC in its Panthak and other efforts and refrain from unnecessary criticizing the DSGMC for their self interests.
