In a major expose on Former President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) Manjit Singh GK, Economic Offence Wing (EOW) has registered an FIR against him for defrauding Guru ki Golak of Rs. 10 lakh. This FIR has been registered on complaint of DSGMC General Secretary Jagdip Singh Kahlon.
This was disclosed by DSGMC President Mr. Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Mr. Jagdip Singh Kahlon at a press conference here today. They disclosed that this FIR was registered on December 28, 2022. They expressed surprise that a per laws no payment of more than Rs. 10 thousand can be made in the DSGMC but Mr. Manjit Singh GK went ahead to pay Rs. 10 lakh whereas in actual no such payment was made and he usurped the said amount.
They disclosed that as per official records this payment was made to one Harjit Singh employee of Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology. They said that when they enquired into the whole issue, Harjit Singh strongly denied having received any amount or signing any document. Director of the Institute also opposed this idea contending that Institute has funded crores of rupees to DSGMC and how can it receive only Rs. 10 lakh that too in cash.
They disclosed that they had filed complaint in this regard on September 26 2019 with Deputy Commissoiner of Police Parliament Street and after in-depth enquiry, this FIR has been registered against Manjit Singh GK u/s 409, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120 B, IPC which carry a punishment upto 10 years of imprisonment.
They further disclosed that this payment was made on August 19, 2016 on the said voucher which was approved by Manjit Singh GK as President that too only on a plane paper.
They further disclosed that apart from the present FIR, two FIRs have already been registered against Manjit Singh GK including FIR No 0003 dated 9.1.2019 and FIR No. 192 dated 12.11.2020. Now this was third FIR which has been registered against him for loot of Guru ki Golak.
They said that apart from these matter GK was also facing issues of donating lakhs of dollors in Canada and USA tour whereas earlier office bearers of DSGMC use to get funds for DSGMC, this man is unique who has donated dollors to Institutions abroad only to usurp money from the Golak.
They said that they have brought this matter before the media and sangat only to apprise them of what GK used to do as President and even today he is not feeling ashamed and instead walks with pride on streets even after loot of Golak.
