The ongoing farmers agitation has led to a worldwide interest and support from like minded people across the Globe.
To provide moral and material support towards the ongoing farmers agitation, NRIs led by Surinder Mavi (Toronto- Patiala) and his friends Raman Brar (Toronto-Faridkot), Vikramjit Saran (Vancouver-Mansa), Davinder singh Ghaloti (Ludhiana – Germany), Harpreet Singh Thiara (Jalandhar – Germany), Jagjit Singh (Kapurthala – Germany),Major Singh (England), Bhavjeet Australia (Ludhiana), Amritpal Dhillon California (Kapurthala), Dalwinder Sidhu New York (Bathinda), Baljinder Singh New Jersey (Nakodar), Avtar Sidhu Alberta (Moga) and a lot of others are coming to India to contribute towards farmers cause and join their protest.
Speaking on behalf of NRIs Surinder Mavi from Toronto said that as children of farmers and Punjab it is their moral duty to stand with the toiling sons and daughters of India who are braving harsh winter nights at Delhi for their rights
He said that the main purpose of #NRIsChaloDelhi campaign is to increase awareness among NRIs and to properly channelize and organize their support for farmers cause so that the agitation is further strengthened .
He also appealed to the NRIs who have already reached India to join #NRIsChaloDelhi campaign and reach Singhu border on 30th December at 12:30PM in front of the main stage.
Fellow NRI Raman Brar appealed to the NRI fraternity to get united and stand in solidarity with farmers and play our part as sons/ daughters of the soil in this ongoing #FamersProtest.
Manik Goyal from Mansa and Joban Randhawa said that we are extremely happy that our brothers from abroad were coming to join us.
