A five-day Short-Term Programme (STP) on “Motivation, Team Building, and Creativity in Entrepreneurship”, sponsored by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) Chandigarh, commenced today at Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering & Technology (GZSCCET), MRSPTU, Bathinda.
The programme is being organized in collaboration with the Departments of Textile Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering at GZSCCET.
The STP aims to equip participants with essential skills in motivation, creativity, team-building, and entrepreneurship, focusing on innovation and leadership in the modern entrepreneurial landscape. It covers crucial topics such as fostering creativity in education, developing entrepreneurial competencies, achievement motivation, parallel thinking methods, design thinking, team building, and business opportunity identification.
The inaugural session was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kansal, Vice-Chancellor of MRSPTU, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. (Dr.) Sanjiv Kumar Aggarwal, Campus Director of GZSCCET-MRSPTU, as the Guest of Honor.
Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kansal highlighted that the STP aligns with MRSPTU’s mission to promote research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He commended the efforts of NITTTR, the ECE, and Textile Engineering departments for organizing this impactful event, stressing that bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application is essential for future industry leaders.
Er. Amardev Singh, Assistant Professor, EDIC, NITTTR Chandigarh, coordinated the programme, while Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Kumar (Professor, Textile Engineering) and Dr. Neeraj Gill (Head, Electronics & Communication Engineering) served as local coordinators.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjiv Kumar Aggarwal emphasized the importance of fostering creativity, teamwork, and leadership, stating that such programs equip students and professionals with the skills necessary to navigate the evolving entrepreneurial world.
Dr. Sukhjinder Singh, Assistant Professor (ECE) and Local Co-coordinator, welcomed the guests and participants.
With over 25 participants, including faculty and staff members, the programme promises to be an enriching experience, providing practical insights into motivation, team building, and creativity in entrepreneurship.
Senior faculty members, including Prof. (Dr.) Savina Bansal, Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Bansal, Prof. Reetipal Singh, Prof. Jyoti Rani, and Er. Vivek, were also present.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Neeraj Gill, Head of the ECE Department, GZSCCET-MRSPTU.
