MRSPTU to Organise 9th Inter-Zonal Youth Festival “Hasda Nachda Punjab” on Nov 26-27

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, is set to host the highly anticipated 9th Inter-Zonal Youth Festival, “Hasda Nachda Punjab,” on November 26-27, 2024.

This cultural extravaganza, celebrating Punjab’s vibrant traditions and youthful creativity, will take place at Baba Farid College of Engineering & Technology, Bathinda.

The festival organised by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, MRSPTU aims to unite students from 25 affiliated colleges through a variety of artistic and cultural competitions.

Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kansal, Vice Chancellor of MRSPTU, will inaugurate the event, marking the start of two days of spirited celebrations.

The festival will feature a captivating array of performances and contests that provide students a platform to showcase their talents while embracing Punjab’s rich cultural heritage. With hundreds of participants and spectators expected, “Hasda Nachda Punjab” promises to be a vibrant celebration of creativity and camaraderie.

Highlights of the festival include dance performances such as traditional Bhangra and Gidha, alongside contemporary styles. Music lovers will enjoy classical and folk performances that embody Punjab’s soulful musical traditions.

Theatre enthusiasts can look forward to intriguing one-act plays and entertaining skits, while creative contests such as Mehandi design, clay modeling, and on-the-spot photography will add an artistic flair to the event.

A panel of distinguished judges, who are experts in their respective fields, will evaluate the participants. The winners will gain the opportunity to represent MRSPTU at state and national-level competitions, showcasing their talent on larger platforms.
