Mohali, February 19, 2026 (Yes Punjab News)
In the coming days, Mohali will become North India’s number one city because the city is witnessing large-scale and all-round development.
To solve traffic problems, the connectivity of roads linked to the industrial area will be fully completed. Once these roads are interconnected, traffic on Airport Road will be controlled, said Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh while talking to reporters.
MLA Kulwant Singh was the chief guest at an event organized by the newly elected team of Mohali Industry Association (MIA). Speaking to reporters, Kulwant Singh said that 10 chowks (traffic intersections) have already been constructed in the city, and 10–15 more chowks will be built in the coming days.
This will make Mohali feel completely open and spacious, and at the same time, will significantly alleviate traffic problems.
Kulwant Singh further said that the entire team of the industry, led by MIA President Ashok Gupta, deserves congratulations today.
He expressed full confidence that this team under Ashok Gupta will raise the concerns and issues of industrialists with the government and ensure they are resolved as quickly as possible.
He added that the Aam Aadmi Party government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is already providing continuous and permanent solutions to industrialists’ issues. Every requirement of industrialists is applied for online and resolved online within a short time, and necessary approvals are also being provided on time.
