The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Sunday continued its ‘Mann De Munaffe’ door-to-door outreach campaign, with party MLAs, MPs and constituency in-charges visiting villages and urban wards to present what the party described as the Bhagwant Mann government’s four-and-a-half-year report card.
The campaign focuses on welfare measures and public services, including free electricity, Aam Aadmi Clinics, government education initiatives and the Maavan-Dheeyan Satkar Yojna. AAP has said the outreach is aimed at explaining to households the financial benefits it believes have accrued from these schemes.
During the campaign in Ward 43, MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur said government schemes were providing financial relief to ordinary families and that party representatives were taking the government’s record directly to residents.
MLA Jasvir Singh, interacting with people in Mastiwal village, highlighted zero electricity bills and other welfare measures, while MLA Mohinder Bhagat, campaigning in Ward 58, described the exercise as an account of the changes the government claims to have brought during its four-and-a-half years in office.
MP Dr Raj Kumar Chabbewal led the outreach in Khalwara Colony and highlighted the government’s work in healthcare and education. Constituency in-charge Ranjodh Singh Hadana interacted with residents in Ward 17, Alipur Ureha, and said schemes such as Aam Aadmi Clinics and free electricity were helping families save money.
MLA Neena Mittal conducted outreach in Jansla village, while MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar met residents in Ward 4 and said the campaign aimed to reach every household with information about government schemes and benefits.
MLA Jeevan Jyot Kaur, campaigning in Ward 18, said the response from residents reflected satisfaction with the Mann government’s work.
AAP leaders have positioned ‘Mann De Munaffe’ as an exercise to present the government’s four-and-a-half-year record directly to households rather than only through public meetings. The campaign is part of the party’s broader political outreach ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly election.
