Light & Sound Show and Mobile Digital Museum to regale people of Jalandhar from October 15

Dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purab celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a digital museum and a light and sound show would be organised in the Lyallpur Khalsa College from October 15-17 in Jalandhar.

Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma, who visited Lyallpur Khalsa College to review the arrangements, said that the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji would be exhibited in the digital museum and through light and sound shows.

He informed that the digital museum would be set up at the ground of college from October 15-17 and people can visit it from 6:30 am to 6 pm on these three days. Similarly, on the first (October 15) and last day (October 17), two light and sound shows on each day will be held on the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji from 7 pm-7:45 pm and from 8:30 pm-9:15 pm.

Mr Sharma informed that the digital museum will be open to the public for 3 days continuously while the 45-minute light and sound show with colourful visual presentations, ultra-modern laser techniques and unique acoustics will be open on two days (first and last) and two shows would be held on these two days.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the officials of various departments to ensure the necessary arrangements for the events and said that the people must be facilitated at any cost so that they would not be deprived of witnessing such special ultra-modern spiritual program.

He said that no stone should be left to un-turn for the success of the events and no laxity and negligence will be tolerated.

He exhorted the people to whole-heartedly participate in these events, which are being organized to mark the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He said that entry for the event is quite free and all the arrangements have been taken place for the convenience of the visitors.

He said that later, the light and sound shows and digital museums would be conducted from October 19 to 21 at IFS College Moga, from October 23 to 25 at Guru Nanak Stadium Kapurthala, from November 1 to 3 at VIP parking Sultanpur Lodhi, from November 5 to 7 at Polytechnic College Batala, from November 9 to 11 November at Grain Market Dera Baba Nanak, from November 13 to 15 November at Pathankot city, from November 17 to 19 at PUDA grounds Gurdaspur, From November 21 to 23 at Roshan Maidan, Hoshiarpur, From November 25 to 27 at SBS Nagar city, From November 29 to December 1 at Nehru Stadium Ropar, From December 3 to 5 at Chandigarh, From December 7 to 9 at Fatehgarh Sahib, From December 11 to 13 in Patiala city, From December 15 to 17 at Sangrur, From December 19 to 21 at Barnala, From December 23 to 25 at Mansa city, From January 15 to 17, 2020 at Bathinda city, From January 19 to 21 at Muktsar Sahib city, From January 23 to 25 at Fazilka town, From January 27 to 29 at Faridkot town, From January 31 to February 2, 2020 at Ferozepur City, From February 4 to 6 2020 at Tarn Taran city and from February 8 to 10, 2020 at Sri Amritsar Sahib.
