Jai Inder Kaur Expresses Gratitude to Modi for Naming Adampur Airport After Guru Ravidas

On the auspicious occasion of the Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid obeisance at Dera Ballan in Jalandhar and sought blessings from Sant Niranjan Dass Ji.

Upon his arrival at Adampur Airport, the Prime Minister was accorded a warm welcome by the President of BJP Punjab Mahila Morcha, Smt. Jai Inder Kaur, among other senior BJP leaders.

While interacting with the media, Smt. Jai Inder Kaur expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for visiting Punjab on this sacred occasion. She especially appreciated the decision to rename Adampur Airport after Shri Guru Ravidas Ji, stating that this decision is a matter of immense pride for crores of devotees of Guru Ravidas Ji across the country.

Smt. Jai Inder Kaur further stated that the announcement by the Central Government to confer the Padma Shri award upon Sant Niranjan Dass Ji, the head of Dera Ballan, is a significant honour for Punjab’s religious traditions and its long-standing legacy of social service.

Referring to another major gift for the state, she said that the commencement of operations at Halwara Airport will provide a substantial boost to trade and commercial activities in Punjab and will strengthen the state’s economy.

She added, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds deep respect and affection for Sikhism and Punjab, which is reflected in his continuous efforts to prioritize the all-round development of the state.”

Smt. Jai Inder Kaur concluded by stating that the Prime Minister’s visit clearly reflects his sincerity, commitment, and strong emotional connection with the people of Punjab.
