Innocent Hearts School organised ‘Anhad: A Divine Connection’, a special programme presented by students of its Primary Wing at its Green Model Town, Loharan and Cantt-Jandiala Road campuses, bringing together students, parents and educators to celebrate values, learning and the bond between home and school.
The programme opened with a warm welcome address, followed by soulful musical and spiritual performances. Bhajans and shabads including “Vin Boleya Sab Kichh Janda,” “Mere Mann Mein Hai Tu,” “Tumri Saran Tumhari Aasan” and “Teri Panah Mein Hamen Rakhna” created a serene atmosphere and conveyed messages of faith and inner connection.
The Principals of the respective schools — Rajeev Paliwal of Green Model Town, Shallu Sehgal of Loharan and Sonali of Cantt-Jandiala Road — presented a segment on ‘Humane Imprinting’.
The presentation highlighted how children are influenced not only by academic education but also by the values, emotions, behaviour and experiences they encounter during their formative years.
The theme ‘From ME to WE’ further focused on the importance of seva, encouraging children to move beyond individual achievement and embrace kindness, empathy, compassion and service to others. The message reflected the school’s emphasis on nurturing responsible and socially sensitive individuals.
Another key segment, ‘Together We Grow’, focused on the three pillars supporting a child’s development — school, teachers and parents — with the child at the centre of this partnership.
The participation of parents added significance to the programme and reinforced the school’s emphasis on collaboration between families and educators.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the parents, school leadership, teachers and students for contributing to the success of ‘Anhad: A Divine Connection’ and making it a celebration of learning, values and togetherness.
