The Nursery students of Innocent Hearts School showcased their confidence, creativity and expressive skills during a Hindi Poem Recitation Activity organised across the school’s Pre-Primary branches at Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.–Jandiala Road, Noorpur Road and Kapurthala Road.
The young participants took part in the activity with enthusiasm and confidence, presenting Hindi poems on a wide range of themes. Their expressive voices, confident gestures and lively presentations added charm to the recitations and brought the poems to life.
The students presented a colourful collection of compositions, including poems on planting trees, Little Earth Bird, countless stars in the sky, Mother’s round roti, time, red light, the sun, mother and roaring clouds, among several other themes.
The activity was organised with the aim of nurturing a love for Hindi poetry among young learners while developing their recitation, communication and expression skills. It also provided the children with an opportunity to overcome hesitation and express their thoughts confidently before an audience.
Such activities play an important role in the holistic development of children by encouraging creativity, self-expression and self-confidence from an early age. The enthusiastic participation of the Nursery students reflected their growing ability to communicate through language, gestures and performance.
