Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan, welcomed its new students with its annual freshers’ celebration, ‘Udaan 2026’, featuring cultural performances, a ramp walk, fun activities and a series of awards.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in the presence of Chief Guest Dr Aastha Bowry, Young Minds Cultural & Life Skills Mentor, and Mrs Sharmila Nakra, Deputy Director, Cultural Affairs.
The cultural programme opened with a devotional Natraj Vandana, followed by student-led hosting and various activities. The ramp walk by the freshers was one of the major highlights, giving students an opportunity to showcase their personality, confidence and style.
The competition was judged by Mrs Richa Sharma and Mrs Jasjot. The winners were felicitated with special titles and awards.

The celebrations also featured a range of interactive and recreational activities, allowing the freshers to connect with their peers and become familiar with their new academic environment.
Dr Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju, Director-Academics, delivered the vote of thanks and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students. Mr Rahul Jain, Director-Operations, extended his best wishes to the freshers for a successful and fulfilling academic journey.
Dr Anup Bowry, Chairman, Innocent Hearts Group, encouraged the students to remain focused on their goals, work hard, make the most of opportunities and strive for excellence.
The event concluded with lunch, leaving the new students with memories of a celebration centred on new beginnings, friendships and aspirations.
