The NSS Unit of Innocent Hearts College of Education celebrated International Women’s day under the essence of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ program. “Wings of Wonder” with this theme, fancy dress and poster-making activities were organized.
The metaphor of “Wings of Wonder” is a powerful, widely used symbol for women’s empowerment, representing growth, resilience and personal transformation.
The alumnae of the college and the would-be female teachers wore graceful traditional garments representing different cultures of various states of our country.Their postures and style depicted a woman’s journey from a constrained, overlooked or grounded state to a position of strength, freedom and self-expression.
A woman gaining confidence, finding her voice and moving from the sidelines of society into positions of visibility and leadership was beautifully displayed in the poster decoration.
