The Idiot Club has been organizing the Jaspal Bhatti Award Show for the last thirteen years. The 14th Jaspal Bhatti Awards show will be held at the Ishmeet Singh Music Institute auditorium in Ludhiana on March 1 at 4.30 pm.
This was disclosed here today by Dr. Rajinder Rikhi, President, Idiot Club and Film Artiste, Dhwani Mehra, Chief Organiser of the award show and Senior Vice President of the Club and Sammi Chaudhary, Patron of the Club.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to the legendary comedian of the Punjabi film industry Mr.B.N Sharma, the Sur Ratna Award was given to the famous ghazal singer Jazim Sharma, the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Deepak Maini, the Iron Lady Award was given to the Indian women’s hockey player Monica Malik, the famous video director Pramod Sharma Rana was awarded the Best Video Director Award.
From Jammu, world-renowned cartoonist and designer Chandra Shekhar Bunty will be honoured with the International Cartoonist and Designer Award, Pandit Rajan Sharma will be honoured with Samrat-e-Jyotish Award, retired principal Dr. Vijay Garg will be honoured with Surjit Patra Award, Dr. K.S. Paras will be conferred with Jyotish Ratna Award and Amandeep Kaur, Director of St. Soldier Group of Schools will be given the Best Educationist Award.
Tejwant Kittu, a world-renowned musician and mentor of the Voice of Punjab show on PTC channel, is also making a special appearance on the show. Bollywood and Pollywood stars Arvinder Bhatti, Amandeep Kaur, Deepak Raja, Khyati Mehra, Deepak Tilli, veronica khosla and others were present at the award show and gave their performances.
