Punjab Government has posted 2018-batch IAS Officer Varjeet Walia as as new Deputy Commissioner of Roopnagar in place of Shri Himanshu Jain, IAS.

Walia was till now serving as Additional Principal Secretaruy to the Chief Minister, Punjab and in Addition CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion.
