Punjab Government has designated IAS Ravi Bhagat as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab.
The orders issued said, ‘Shri Ravi Bhagat, IAS (2006), Special Principal Secretary to chief Minister, Punjab is hereby designated as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Punjab. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Public Works Department (Buildings & Roads) and in addition Secretary, Punjab Rural Development Board.
The post of Principal Secretary to Chief Minisgter Punjab, was lying vacant after superannuation of IAS VK Singh.
Ravi Bhagat was given additional charge as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister after superannuation of IAS VK Singh but has now been designated as Principal Secretary.
