In a significant administrative move, the Punjab Government has assigned an additional charge to Shri Mohammad Tayyab, a distinguished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2007 batch.
Shri Tayyab, who currently serves as the Administrative Secretary for Horticulture, Administrative Secretary for Soil & Water Conservation, and Director of Treasury and Accounts, will now also assume the crucial role of Managing Director for the Punjab Infrastructure Development Board.
This appointment, filling a vacant post, is effective immediately and aims to bolster the state’s focus on accelerating infrastructure development. The order was issued from Chandigarh on May 27, 2025, by Chief Secretary, Govt. of Punjab, KAP Sinha.
