Helpline numbers 01722219505 and 01722219506 have been set up by the district administration to collect information of students and other persons belonging to SAS Nagar district stranded in Ukraine, so that the information of such persons can be forwarded to the concerned authorities through the state government.
This helpline number will be operational 24X7.
Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Isha Kalia said that the information of persons stranded in Ukraine belonging to the district was being collected so that this information could be provided to the Ministry of External Affairs through the state government in time.
Mrs. Isha Kalia appealed to the family members of persons belonging to SAS Nagar district who are stranded in Ukraine to provide immediate information and in this information the name of the person who has gone to Ukraine, father’s name, passport number, name of the university / college, in Ukraine. As much information as possible, including their address, should be shared.
