Haryana Director General of Police, Mr. Manoj Yadava said that the police players have always brought laurels to the State by proving their talent in various national and international level events.
Mr. Yadava was addressing the medal winners of recently concluded World Police and Fire Games, who called on him at Police Headquarters today. He also wished them for a better performance in the upcoming international championships.
He said that the player should always keep his courage and move forward with the biggest goal. It is a matter or great pride that our players are making the country and the state proud by contributing maximum medals in country’s medal tally in international events.
On this occasion, all the players assured that they would try their best to keep the flag of Haryana Police flying high in the upcoming championships.
The players include Inspector Nirmala, Sub-Inspector Jagbir and Head-Constable Santosh. Nirmala won the gold in the 53-kg wrestling event at the World Police and Fire Games, Jagbir won the silver in the 98-kg category and Santosh won the bronze medal in the 75-kg.
