Haryana Police arrest illegal arms suppliers, seizes 13 weapons

Haryana Police has arrested an illegal arms supplier and seized over a dozen illegal weapons including a desi gun, 12 country-made pistols and a cartridge from his possession in Palwal district.

Sharing the information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that arrested accused was identified as Pankaj aka Kaluva, a native of district Alwar in Rajasthan.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that he brought illegal weapons from Lakshmangarh in Rajasthan for supply to local miscreants in Nuh area. The arrested accused is being thoroughly interrogated to know about the buyers of weapons.

He said that police received input that a person, who supplied illegal arms, was passing through Palwal district with a large cache of illegal weapons. Acting swiftly, police nabbed him along with a plastic bag containing the illegal weapons.

A case has been registered against the accused and a thorough probe is underway.
