As a mark of respect and recognition, Haryana Police have accorded a warm send-off to two DGP rank Haryana cadre IPS officers, who retired on June 30 on attaining their age of superannuation after putting in over 33 years of service in various capacities.
These officers are Dr K.P. Singh and Mr K.K. Mishra.
In their honour, a farewell meeting was organized at Haryana Police Headquarters, which was attended by Director General of Police, Haryana, Mr Manoj Yadava, DGP Mr P.K. Agrawal, Additional DGP (Law and Order) Mr Navdeep Singh Virk, ADGP CID Mr Anil Kumar Rao, ADGP Shrikant Jadhav, IGP Saurabh Singh and other senior officers of the Police.
The DGP Mr Manoj Yadava and all other officers congratulated both the officers for having a successful career and wished them a happy and healthy post-retirement life.
Dr. K.P Singh, IPS retired from service in the rank of DGP on attaining the age of superannuation. Before being posted as DGP, State Vigilance Bureau, Panchkula, he also served as DGP Haryana twice from 13.04.2016 to 27.04.2017 and 01.02.2019 to 21.02.2019. Dr. Singh, who hails from district Saharanpur (U.P.), was inducted into IPS in 1985. During his 35 years service, he remained posted in various capacities. In recognition of his excellent services and devotion to duty throughout his career, he was decorated with the Police Medal in 2016.
Similarly, Mr K.K. Mishra, superannuated in the rank of DGP posted as Managing Director, Haryana Police Housing Corporation. He joined Indian Police Service in 1987 and served for about 33 years in different capacities. Mr Mishra, who hails from Bihar, has been awarded various medals and appreciations which include Police Medal for Gallantry in 2004 and President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2014.
