Gurcharan Singh Dhaliwal’s Punjabi poetry book ‘Kaagaz di Dehleez’ released in Canada

The poetry book titled “Kaagaz Di Dehleez” by poet Gurcharan Singh Dhaliwal was released at an impressive function held at Punjab Bhawan in Surrey (Canada) last evening. This function was organised by Punjabi Sahit Akademi’s Canada-based members in association with Vancouver Vichar Manch.

Punjabi Sahit Akademi former president Prof Gurbhajan Singh Gill informed that Gurcharan Singh Dhaliwal is a resident of Chandigarh and is presently visiting Canada. He is an eminent poet of Punjabi language and is a practicing lawyer in Punjab & Haryana High Court and Kaagaz Di Dehleez is his first book of poetry,” informed Prof Gill.

During the book release function, eminent Punjabi writer Jarnail Singh Sekha spoke in length about Gurcharan Singh Dhaliwal’s poetry.

Punjab Bhawan Canada founder Sukhi Bath said that he wanted Gurcharan Singh Dhaliwal to attend World Punjabi Conference to be held at Punjab Bhawan Surrey on September 21 & 22, 2019, but unfortunately he has to return back to India.

Vancouver Vichar Manch President Angrej Singh Brar also addressed the gathering on the occasion.

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Punjabi writer Mohan Gill, Jarnail Singh Artist, Randhir Singh Dhillon, Hardam Singh Mann, Sukhwinder Singh Chohla Chief Editor NRI Sarokar, Paramjit Singh Bajwa Kapurthala, Principal Gurbachan Singh Grewal Ludhiana, Gurjant Singh Brar, Jagga Singh Gill Abbotsford, Harinderjit Kaur, besides several others.
