Diljit Dosanjh’s “Dil-Luminati Tour” in India is already creating waves, with the singer announcing that he sold 1 lakh tickets within just 15 minutes during the pre-sales.
The pre-booking, which opened at 12 PM on Tuesday, saw an overwhelming response, with early bird tickets selling out in just two minutes.
Massive Demand for Pre-Sale Tickets
The pre-sale for Diljit’s much-anticipated “Dil-Luminati Tour” (India) went live at noon on September 10, and eager fans quickly snapped up tickets.
HDFC Pixel Credit Card holders had exclusive early access to the pre-sale and a 10% discount on ticket prices.
The demand was so high that early bird tickets were gone within minutes of the sale going live.
Dil-Luminati Tour: Cities and Dates
The “Dil-Luminati Tour” will kick off at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26, 2023.
After Delhi, the tour will travel to major cities across India, including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
Fans across the country are eagerly awaiting Diljit’s return to the stage in his homeland.
Diljit Expresses His Excitement
Sharing his excitement, Diljit Dosanjh said in a statement provided by Saregama, “Bringing the ‘Dil-Luminati Tour’ to India is a dream come true. Ticket Prices and Sales for the Dil-Luminati Tour
During the pre-sale, early bird tickets for the Gold (standing) section were priced at Rs 3,999, while Silver (sitting) seats started at Rs 1,499.
However, due to the massive demand, ticket prices increased quickly.
Gold tickets soared to Rs 4,999 and then to Rs 5,999, while Silver tickets jumped to Rs 2,499 by the end of the pre-sale.
The Fan Pit category tickets also saw a steep rise, going from Rs 9,999 to Rs 12,999.
Despite the price hikes, almost all categories were sold out within 30 minutes, except for some Silver section tickets.
General Ticket Sales Begin on September 12
For those who missed the pre-sale, general ticket sales will open on September 12 at 1 PM. Fans are encouraged to grab their tickets early, as demand is expected to remain high for the remainder of the tour.
