The Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered the transfer of Punjab ADGP Jaskaran Singh, IPS.
The Election Commissioner has sought panel of 3 officers to replace the IPS officer.
IPS Jskaran Singh who is presently posted as ADGP Ropar Range is due to retire in April, 2024.
The ECI has asked the state Government to transfer him out of the district and ensure that he is not posted within the same parliamentary constituency.
