The Election Commission of India (ECI) has ordered the transfer of DIG Narendra Bhargava, IPS.
The Election Commissioner has sought panel of 3 officers to replace the IPS officer.
IPS NarendraBhargava who is presently posted as DIG Border Range is due to retire in June, 2024.
The ECI has asked the state Government to transfer him out of the district and ensure that he is not posted within the same parliamentary constituency.
