In a shocking incident of violence, a businessman and his employee were shot dead by unidentified assailants at a farmhouse in Sardulgarh town of Mansa district on Friday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Jasvir Singh, also known as Kaka, and his employee Baldev Singh. The incident reportedly occurred around 10:00 AM when armed attackers opened fire at the farmhouse premises.
Assailants Flee After Attack
According to initial reports, the attackers fled the scene immediately after carrying out the shooting. The motive behind the killings is yet to be ascertained.
Police sources said that no arrests have been made so far and efforts are underway to identify and trace the accused.
Police Launch Investigation
Confirming the double homicide, Mansa Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bhagirath Singh Meena stated that a case has been registered and a detailed investigation has been initiated.
A forensic team has reached the spot and is collecting physical evidence to aid the probe. Police officials are also examining possible angles, including personal rivalry, business disputes, or other motives.
Authorities Assure Action
Authorities have assured that the perpetrators will be identified and brought to justice at the earliest.
