Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt), President, S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa’s political advisor and party spokesman, S. Davinder Singh Sodhi has raised objections over the fake claims of Jagmeet Singh Brar regarding the inclusion of S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and Jathedar Ranjit Singh Talwandi’s name in the 21-member Shiromani Akali Unity Coordination Committee.
Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and any of his party leader will never involve in any committee where Sukhbir Badal is involved, said S. Davinder Singh Sodhi.
He also termed the announcement made by Jagmeet Singh Brar to include S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and Jathedar Ranjit SIngh Talwandi in the committee as baseless and said that no one had held any discussion with the Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) regarding the formation of this committee.
S. Davinder Singh Sodhi while condemning Sukhbir Singh Badal said that he should stop dreaming of Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa’s return to his party. Sodhi further said that Sukhbir Badal, who is involved in anti-panth activities and allegations of desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, is dreaming of coming back to power through money he had looted by sand, transport, liquor, cable, and drug mafia. While the Panth and the people of Punjab have given a strong response to Badal Dal in the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha elections, he added.
“We have guarded the original principles of Akali Dal and will continue to guard the same. We will not compromise with the Badal family till our last breath. Sukhbir Singh Badal is directly responsible for the decline of Shiromani Akali Dal and there is no question of Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa will be there in any committee in which Sukhbir Singh Badal’s name will be included,” added S. Sodhi.
