Brampton, ON, Aug 7, 2019 (Yes Punjab News)

Brampton Regional Councillor Gurpreet Singh Dhillon and City Councillor Harkirat Singh will be hosting a ‘Trucker Town Hall’ on Saturday, August 17th, from 5pm to 6pm to discuss issues faced by the trucking and logistics community in Brampton.

The meeting will be held at Ebenezer Hall, located at 4494 Ebenezer Rd in Brampton, on the northwest corner of The Gore Rd & Ebenezer Rd. Both Councillors Dhillon and Singh, including city staff, will be present and all members of the logistics community are invited to attend.

“We want to hear directly from the industry, and look for solutions” said Councillor Dhillon. “Until now there has not been adequate consultation or engagement.”

“Logistics is one the back bones of Brampton’s local economy and I am optimistic we will have a positive discussion,” added Councillor Singh.
