Covid-19 continues to wreak havoc in Punjab. The state today witnessed 5 deaths taking the toll till now to 162.
Two positive patients lost lives in the district Moga. One death each was reported from Amritsar, Hoshiarpur and SAS Nagar.
With today’s deaths, the death toll in Moga has climbed to four.
The worst affected district, Amritsar also reported one more death taking the death toll to 48.
Till now seven people lost their lives in Hoshiarpur while death toll in Mohali has gone up to five.
On Saturday, Jalandhar surprised with as many as 61 new positive cases while Ludhiana recorded 46 new cases. Sangrur reported 16 new positive cases while Amritsar added 9 cases to its huge list of Corona positive patients.
