Congress, PDP move to defame India globally highly condemnable: Sirsa

New Delhi, October 25, 2022 (Yes Punjab News)
BJP Sikh leader Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa today came down heavily on Congress and PDP for trying to defame India globally after Rishi Sunak became PM of Britain and said that country has always given respect to Minorities in the country by appointment them to top posts in Government, Judiciary, Army besides other fields.

In a strong worded statement released here, Mr. Sirsa lashed out at Congress leader P. Chidambaram and PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti for trying to paint India as anti Minority after Rishi Sunak was elected PM in Britain and said that it was a deliberate attempt of both the parties to defame our country globally. He reminded both the parties as well as their leaders that country had three Muslim leaders as Presidents of the Nation including Zakir Hussain, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam besides Sikh President Giani Zail Singh, Sikh Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Justice Mohammed Hidyatullah as Chief Justice of India besides other prominent people from minority communities on top posts of Government, Judiciary, Army and other fields in the nation.

He reminded the Congress and PDP that in India appointments are made by basis of ‘Merit’ and not ‘Minority’ so they should stop playing minority card for their political opportunism and defaming country globally.

Mr. Sirsa said that their sole agenda was to defame Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi because they were jealous that India and Indians were achieving great heights under his leadership.

He warned these parties to desist from unleashing their harm India’s image agenda or otherwise people of the country will never forgive them.
