Common Entrance Exam for Army Recruitment to be held on April 25 postponed

Common Entrance Exam that was scheduled to be held on April 25, 2021 for the candidates who have cleared the physical test for recruitment in various categories in the Indian Army, has been postponed till further orders in wake of spike in Covid-19 cases.

Candidates from five districts Patiala, Sangrur, Mansa, Barnala and Fatehgarh Sahib were shortlisted after clearing of physical test for this examination.

The Indian Army’s Patiala-based Army Recruitment Director Col. R.R. Chandel said that the Director General of Recruiting, IHQ of Ministry of Defense (Army) has decided to put off the written test (Common Entrance Exam), that was scheduled on April 25, 2021, at the 1st Army Division Signal Regiment Ground in front of the Flying Club here at Sangrur Road.

He said that the candidates would be informed whenever it was decided to retake the examination. The coordinating conference that was scheduled on April 21, 2021 for the subject exam also stands cancelled, he said.
