BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today paid a rich homage to former SGPC president Gurucharan Singh Tohra on his death anniversary and called him a true “Punjab Ratan” for his matchless services to Punjab and the country.
Addressing a gathering at Tohra village Chugh said Tohra was a selfless leader for whom interests of Punjabis were most important.
During his more than 40 years of public career during which he was SGPC president for 27 times Tohra delivered distinguished services and played a pivotal role in sustaining the Akali Dal-BJP.
