Navjot Singh Sidhu, whose resignation as President of Punjab Congress has again sparked a big controversy in the party, is likely to meet Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi today to discuss and sort out the issues.
CM Channi, in a press conference, after the resignation of Sidhu, had said that he was ready to talk to Sidhu and the things would be sorted out.
Interestingly, Sidhu is not going to Chief Minister’s office or residence to meet him and has instead said that he would be reaching Punjab Bhawan in Chandigarh today at 3.00 PM and Channi is welcome for any discussions.
Sidhu today took to Twitter to inform that, “Chief Minister has invited me for talks … will reciprocate by reaching Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh at 3:00 PM today, he is welcome for any discussions !”
It has also been reported that Congress high command has asked Chief Minister to talk to Sidhu so that the issue gets sorted out at state level itself.
