The Chandigarh Education Department has changed the timings of schools and has decided to keep schools up to class 8 closed till January 11.
The decision has been taken in view of the ongoing cold spell and dense fog.
Only online classes will be held. Schools have been asked to hold online classes only after 9AM and to call the school staff accordingly.
Classes in physical mode stand suspended for classes up to eighth standard, However, there would be online classe from 9 am onwards.
As per the new orders, for classes 9 to 12, students will attend physical classes only after 9:30 AM and the classes will conclude by 3:30 PM.
