The Chandigarh Administration has declared Public Holiday on August 23 in view of Janmashtami.
All government offices, boards, cvorporations and institutes under Chandigarh Administration will remain closed on August 23.
Earlier it was listed as a holiday for August 24, but now the holiday for Janmashtami has been changed to August 23.
A notice in this respect has been issued by Home Department of the Chandigarh Administration.
